Minas International’s MinasCare Sustainable Community Development Program is not just something we take seriously but rather a serious commitment.
MinasCare’s objective is to provide programs and opportunities to aid and create sustainable development in the areas of education, environment and in aiding those who need a helping hand. Minas Gerais is moving forward at a rapid rate and MinasCare aims to be there helping to ensure its people and resources grow and are sustained along with it.
Our first major initiative is the Minas Mentors program.
Our Mission
To help low-income students transition from university to the work environment through mentoring relationships with experienced professionals and career development workshops.
Minas Mentors is a community outreach program that provides low-income university students in Minas Gerais with mentoring and professional skills-building support to aid them in the transition from university to the workforce. Minas Mentors is part of Minas International’s sustainable community development program - Minas Care.
Minas Mentors is the first program of its kind in Minas Gerais and is synergistic with Brazil’s commitment to bettering education and employers’ desire for a more prepared and diverse workforce. Minas Mentors aims to make a significant contribution in advancing professional opportunities for low-income university students. Join us in helping to build a brighter future for those less fortunate and a stronger tomorrow for Brazil.
