Minas International  -  Globalizing Locally

Minas International is a not for profit organization connecting English speakers living working or doing business in Minas Gerais through networking and MinasCare sustainable community development program.

Minas International was founded by Maxine T. McClellan in 2009.  The organization was formed in response to the growing number of international businesses and professionals coming into and doing business with the State of Minas Gerais.  Minas is Brazil’s third largest economy yet no organization was in place to support this rapidly globalizing community.  Minas International intends to serve this space.

Minas International’s objectives are to provide an active forum for business networking, education and knowledge sharing as well as social engagement opportunities to bring the global community together and to help facilitate cultural assimilation both for foreigners and Brazilians doing business in the global market.  Minas International is also focused on sustainable community development through MinasCare where we develop and support programs focused on advantaging those in need and in protecting and sustaining natural resources.
